Non-Invasive Skin Tightening & Rejuvenation

Facial Contouring in Courtenay & Campbell River

Tighten, lift, and contour the face with advanced radiofrequency technology that stimulates collagen production, improves skin elasticity, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles without surgery or downtime.

Why Choose Facial Contouring?

As we get older, collagen production declines, which can contribute to wrinkles, skin laxity, and other visible signs of ageing.

Our radiofrequency (RF) facial contouring treatments help stimulate collagen production and support skin tightening. They may also help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and mild skin laxity.

What Is Facial Contouring? / How Does Facial Contouring Work?

RF (radiofrequency) energy is a non-invasive thermal skin treatment that targets the deeper layers of the skin. It works by using RF heat to stimulate collagen formation and support the skin’s overall elasticity.

Subdermal heating helps stimulate collagen and support collagen remodelling over time. As we age, collagen layers become thinner and more compressed, which contributes to lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity. RF energy helps support gradual tightening and improvement in skin texture.

We use two platforms for these treatments: Venus DiamondPolar™ and InMode Forma. Both are Health Canada-approved for RF treatments. These platforms use radiofrequency energy to generate uniform heat in the skin. Both are considered safe and comfortable.

Forma or DiamondPolar™ patients can combine RF contouring with fractional resurfacing, such as Venus Viva™ or Fractora, or with RF microneedling, such as Morpheus8. IPL, such as Lumecca, may also be added as part of a broader treatment plan.

have a question?

Facial contouring treatments typically take 45–60 minutes.

You can relax during the treatment and will usually feel warmth and movement of the treatment handpiece. During a Forma treatment, your technician uses a heated wand and glides it across the skin with gel to help it move smoothly over the treatment area.

Treatment typically focuses on areas you would like to address, such as the jawline, forehead, crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, and other areas with fine lines or skin laxity.

After treatment, the skin may appear red from the heat, but this usually settles within a few hours. Because the treatment is non-invasive, there is typically no downtime.

A maintenance program may be recommended after the initial treatment series to help support longer-term results.

Facial contouring with radiofrequency can vary in cost depending on which device is used. If you are unsure which approach is best for you, a consultation with one of our laser technicians or skin specialists can help guide your treatment plan.

This treatment is suitable for all skin types and may be appropriate for patients looking for a non-invasive approach to improving skin tone, texture, and mild skin laxity.

Some patients choose this treatment for prevention or early maintenance, while others are looking for support with lifting and tightening without surgery.

Contraindications for this treatment include:

  • Pregnancy or nursing
  • Bacterial or viral infection
