PRP treatments use platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood to support tissue repair, healing, and rejuvenation in selected treatment areas.

Blood contains platelets that play an important role in the body’s natural healing response. These platelets carry proteins, called growth factors, that help support tissue repair.
A sample of blood is drawn from a vein in your arm. The sample is then placed in a centrifuge, which spins the blood to separate and concentrate the platelets. These platelets are mixed back into a small amount of plasma. This platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, made from your own blood, is then used in your treatment.
Once prepared, the PRP may be delivered in different ways depending on the treatment area and concern.
